It's the Little Things

I have never really been a big jewelry girl. Sure I've got a few statement necklaces and quirky rings but my heart lies in the dainty selection of jewelry. I love way a simple necklace like my Butterfly Twist necklace from Peggy Li Creations can make an outfit sweeter or how a bracelet like this Kate Spade one can not only be a nod to my dancer lifestyle but a reminder to have a little fun or with a modern twist this Micheal Kors bracelet is perfect for a balanced splash of glam. So today I'm sharing with you a fun little collection of all my favorite dainty jewelry from around the web!

I'm in love with silky printed shorts. Currently I'm looking for these printed shorts that Emily Bett Rickards wore in Madrid! I think printed/silky shorts are the best thing for summer. They keep you cool and look chic (if done correctly). What do you guys think of printed shorts?

Hello everybody! This post is coming to you late because I just took the Algebra 2/Trig exam and holy cow is my brain drained. I wish I had more to say but if I didn't have to take the A2/Trig exam today I would have worn this!

I'd say happy Monday but today is just kicking my butt. My "recital hangover"* has turned into an actual head cold and I'm currently lying in bed watching Frozen for the first time. I can't believe I haven't seen it yet but so far (about 30 mins in) and I like it! Its funny any princess movie makes me want to learn how to waltz. But do I really need to add one more dance to my arsenal?
This outfit is one of my favorites I've come up with recently. Chambray and navy is one of my favorite combinations, I love mixing shades of the same color. Ooh can I rave about my nail color, it's one of the most beautiful blues in the history of blue nail polishes! I adore it!!
*Recital Hangover: A hangover type feeling (headache, nausea and the ever so lovely muscle aches) derived from a recital performance!

Hello, today I am the bright new age of 17. Well actually no, I'm 16 still but tomorrow I'll be 17! So semantics. This is my birthday wishlist this year. I want round sunnies (thank you Emily Bett Rickards), gold jewlery perfecr for layering, a subtly sexy romper (or playsuit because I feel fancy), some killer heels and to top it off a Chanel lipstick, Elizabeth and James perfume and drybar products to make the mane look stellar.

Beauty Haul: Sephora, Ulta, Target and Bath and Body Works (A Video)

So you guys, I've decided to put all my hauls on a Youtube channel because there are soooo many pictures with hauls. I didn't want to give them up so I figured that was the next best option. You can subscribe to me here and I'll make sure to link every video back to my blog!!

Silky Shorts

I'm Wearing: Top: Forever 21 [old] // Shorts: Francesca's // Shoes: DV Dolce Vita via TJ Maxx // Necklace: Peggy Li Creations  // Purse: Target

I don't have much to say about this outfit other than these shorts are silky soft with a killer pattern. Win, win!

Please excuse the copious amounts of floor burn you're seeing on my feet. #dancerproblems

You guys! I'm so sorry for the absence last week. But I'm back today with a lovely little ditty that I wore on a day out with my dad! I also wore this stellar outfit (if I do say so myself) to see Maleficent and holy cow guys I loved it. Disney and it's villains (except Cruella Deville, she abused animals)  are one of my favorite things to delve into.I love when Disney goes back and tells the story of why a villain came to be so evil because I think that, in real life there are two sides to every story and more importantly I believe that evil is made not born. For me, villains are much more interesting than a cut and dry hero, much of the reason I love Once Upon a Time is because nothing on that show is cut and dry, Emma, the Savior, spent years as a thief as did her mother Snow White. I understand the world's fascination with villains because I'm right in that boat with them. I want to know what made somebody become so evil. I want to see the story from their side too. What about you guys, do you like the fascination with villains in the recent years?
