A bit like...

I’m not going to say I told you so. Well maybe. No, I can't. Oh who am I kidding, of course I can. I told you, you would be seeing these tights again! I have worn them twice this week, this outfit is my favorite so far. I planned it ahead of time just because I was bored one night (that I didn’t have dance, go figure).  I actually was worried about this outfit because the top I’m wearing is a dress and it peaks through a bit at the bottom. But I think it looks fine, it’s not like the dress is sitting on my knees while this skirt is obviously very short.
[I'm Wearing: Dress(worn as top): Charlotte Russe,Cardigan: Aeropostale Skirt: Hollister, Tights: Target and Shoes: Famous Footwear]
I own about 5 pieces of clothing that are from Hollister still. Hollister was where everyone and their dogs were shopping at while I was in middle school, myself included. We middle schoolers really enjoyed being walking billboards for Abercrombie, Hollister and Aeropostale. It was certainly an awkward time in my fashion history.  This skirt is a more recent purchase form Hollister, it was in fact purchased last year but it’s been the only thing I’ve bought from there since middle school. It’s what I like to call my flowy, flouncy, bouncy skirt. It’s such a fun skirt to wear I always feel like I could go flying in this skirt!
While I was wearing this outfit at school people kept telling me I look like an elementary school teacher. I’m not sure why but I totally felt that way too when I was planning this. Maybe it’s the collar or maybe it’s the tights. I’m not sure but whatever it is makes this outfit cute and I’m OK with that. Tonight I’ve got practices for our Christmas performance at dance! Tomorrow I’m doing a favor for my friend by playing a make shift 3rd wheel. Wish me luck! (I kid…sorta)

You're so chic! So pretty...and you have such a great sense of style.
Love your legs in the tights as much as I love the cute skirt.
    Perfect balance.
I grew up in tights, being in ballet for 13 years. In fact, mom raised me rather androgynously, so I also wore tights under big sweaters and hip length tunics and such around the house growing up. Your lovely look reminds me of all those days....epsecially when the delivery man would come and I'd meet him at the door and he's refer to me as Miss......
Oh, by the way, I'm a guy...and I love fashion as much as I love dance.
I'm traveling in Europe this fall,
It looks like you have the same affinity for tights as I have.....

I've been raving to my new friends about how much I love the tights/shorts look, so they encouraged me to try it myself...
and I have in a big way,..... denim cutoffs, high waisted shorts, even a romper.......
I will following your blog religiously..... thanks for sharing your lovely taste and your beauty
